My Review 

Hidden Reef located near the Il/Wi border, is a new shop they carry saltwater,freshwater and coral. This has got to be the best shop I have been in! They are family owned and ran, the staff is nice helpful and knowledgeable they go out of their way for their customers. While I was there not only did they carry a customers purchase to the car, but another customer came in needing help to set up his new tank and they went to the customers house to set it up. They donate fish and maintenance to the local schools and classrooms, teachers receive fish at cost if buying fish for classroom. The prices by far beat everyone, the fish are excellent quality, they come with a 7 day guarantee. They stock everything from low cost to exotic rare and show quality fish. If your looking for a specific fish they will special order, and you don't have to pay until you see the fish when it comes in. They also carry food and supplies and will order anything your looking for if its not in stock. They carry a hard to find brand of frozen food called Rod's, and word is they will be selling their own proprietary blend of food soon. They make their own RO water and sell it for 2 dollars per five gal bucket ,and will make saltwater with advanced notice. The staff are all hobbyist and have a passion for the hobby, they started the store because they could never find fish that they wanted that didn't cost an arm and a leg, or were of poor quality. They will guide you on compatibility for your tank if your unsure. They don't not warehouse their fish, and they treat them as their own until they are purchased. During one of my visits a customer came in wanting to buy a whole set up and take home an expensive golden puffer and lion fish, they were extremely nice but refused to sell the customer the fish no matter how much money he offered them, they could have easily made a huge profit on the deal but chose the ethical route (the customer did leave with the tank set up live rock and some damsels). They even have someone dressed up as Spongebob quite often for the kids to meet and take pictures with. I highly recommend this store even if it is a bit of a drive, you wont find a better deal or nicer people in any other store o
