With the aquarium stand and sump in place, we then put the tank on top of the stand. Because the unit was in a corner, and due to the awkward shape and size of the tank, we had to slide the unit out away from the wall to do this.
We next applied the background. Not wanting to use the typical and often boring stick or tape on type colored or imaged aquarium background, we painted the two outside walls of the tank with a beautiful complimentary color. Here's how to paint on an aquarium background.
