This snail has an elongated spiral shell that is usually black with tiny white dots covering the entire shell. Normally seen with numerous protrusions around the shell's exterior.

Feeds on detritus and algae or eats sediments to digest the resident organic material and bacteria.

Characteristics & Compatibility:

Prefers a sand substrate which it buries itself in, aiding in the stirring of deep sand beds.
