Pale Rock-Boring Urchin
From Keoki's Fish Corner a Pale Rock-Boring Urchin (Echinometra mathaei) which is abundant at all depths, ranges in color from pink to olive. Their spines are strong and sharp and have an overall diameter of 3 inches.
Needle-Spined Urchin
From Keoki's Fish Corner a Needle-Spined Urchin ((Echinostrephus aciculatus) which is abundant at scuba depths, ranges from purple to black in color and has spines which are thin and sharp. Overall diameter is 3 inches.
