Ashy Sea Cucumber (Holothuria cinerascens)

The Ashy Sea Cucumber (Holothuria cinerascens) is common in the intertidal zone, holes, and caverns. It occurs in clusters and extends tentacles to capture food in the current. Purplish brown to black in color, it attains 6 inches in length and can be found in Hawaii & the Indo-Pacific.
