This peaceful little fish is non-aggressive, spending most of its time searching the substrate and among rocks for food. The outrageously colored
Mandarin Dragonet can be difficult to to adapt to tank fed foods. The Mandarin consumes copepods and amphipods in the wild, which can be found in marine tanks with a good supply of live rock.
With some patience, however, it can be weaned from its normal fare onto Brine Shrimp and (greatly preferred) Mysid Shrimp.
