The dark blue indicates a vinyl hose/airline tube connecting one of the 3/16" tubes glued into the impeller plate, to the 3/16" tube glued into the output plate, to the 3/16" tube glued into the output nozzle of the main pump. The aqua color represents the vinyl hose/airline tubing that connects the other 3/16" tube glued inside the impeller housing to the atmosphere. This is the O2 draw hose that allows the air to be drawn down into the value or impeller housing. What occurs at this point is that the air/water mixture is recirculated many times creating even more froth, insuring the maximum micro-bubble production and allowing for maximum organics removal. The secret of this design is the recirculation of the froth, giving the impeller blades the opportunity to literally "chop" the mixture to the finest ratio possible.
