Step 1: Diagram & Instructions

Don Carner
A. Represents the threaded ring that holds the impeller value in place against the pump housing.
B. Represents the actual impeller support value where the modifications are to take place.
C. Represents the same item but from a head-on view, looking directly into the impeller assembly.

The blue areas designate holes or openings. In the head on view from "C", the center gray/black ring represents the impeller shaft support, where the rubber bushing seats to stabilize the shaft/impeller assembly. The black bars are the molded support beams that hold the bushing/shaft centered. The blue rings represent the 3/16th's plastic tubes we are going to glue into the housing. For clarity, "B" seats into "A" and then "A" is threaded to a finger-tightness onto the main pump body.
