  • Calcifies and expands best in dim to moderate light.
  • Does not produce feeding tentacles, therefore receives its nutrition from absorption.
  • Does best without heavy skimming or highly efficient water filtration.
  • Does not seem to sting or be stung.
  • Considered an easy coral to keep.
