Scientific Name: Amblyeleotris wheeleri
Other Common Names: Wheeler's Prawn, Gorgeous Shrimp Goby, Wheeler's Shrimp Goby.
Identification: It has a white body with broad orange-red bands and tiny blue spots. The dorsal fin has red and blue dots.
Distribution: Indo-Pacific.
Maximum Size: To 3".
Reef Tank Safe: Yes.
Diet & Feeding: Its diet should include a variety of live and frozen brine shrimp, mysis shrimp, live black worms, and prepared foods for carnivores. It should be fed twice daily.
Characteristics & Compatibility: This Goby prefers a peaceful tank with plenty of hiding places and does well with others of its species. This Goby has been known to spawn successfully in an aquarium.
