This is among the simplest feeder around, easy to use yet programmable to 4 schedules and 2 feeding quantity each. Unfortunately the clock and the program is not protected using separate batteries. If you accidentally open the battery lid (it was not tightly secured against shocks or impacts), the clock and the programs have to be redone all over again. During the operation too, the clock and the programs easily lost. I operated this feeder for a week and already experienced two program wipe offs. Those happened because the batteries (brand new AA size) failed to turn the food container on a scheduled feeding, the voltage dropped and all the programs including the clock reset to 00:00. Again, the food container was not carefully designed. The lid is functioning as the axis of the revolver. This made the axis not firm enough and the food loading rather difficult. Not including the difficulties setting the dosage of each feedings.
