Already a popular books in Europe, the Baensch Marine Atlas' 2 & 3 are centered on the care and identification of Invertebrates, and go hand in hand. Atlas 2 is numbered from pages 1-736, and then Atlas 3 picks up with page numbers 737-1326. Both books have Indexes in the back, but the Index in Atlas 3 includes locating the information by page numbers in both Atlas 2 and 3. Atlas 3 also includes a word Glossary. Atlas 2 covers the following Invertebrate species: Common Sponges, Hydroids, Jellyfishes, Soft Corals, Gorgonians, Sea Pens, Stony Corals, Flatworms, Tentacled Animals, and the beginning Chapters on Molluscs, including Chitons, Snails (Primitive, Intermediate and Advanced Gastropods), Opisthobranchs (Sea Slugs,) and Nudibranchs.
