Clownfish & Anemone Matches
Preferred Host Relationships Chart

This cross-reference chart can help with choosing a "preferred" host anemone for your clownfishes, and vice versa, which is based on the natural symbiotic relationships between them in the wild. The black bolded names reflect the primary, and sometimes only clownfish a particular anemone is reported to host in nature. However, this does not necessarily mean that any given anemone or clownfish listed might not adapt to and accept other species in aquariums, some of which are noted.
