I have used Clean & Clear and am satisfied it does its job.  I quit the aquarium hobby because of having the constant aggravation of cleaning the algae off the glass.

I heard about this product three months ago, and decided to give it a try.  At first, the water became cloudy and panic set in.  However, after contacting ACI they told me that is a good sign as the bacteria is exploding and going to work.  After giving Clean & Clear four days, the water became clear.

Usually algae will attack the tanks here within five days.  With this product in the tank there has been no sign of algae at this point.  I am now nearing the time to retreat the tank (to be used once every two to three months).
