Although the PMA-1 Molecular Absorption unit by Poly-Bio-Marine does not mechanically remove particulate (undissolved) matter from tap water as most R.O. units do, it is very efficient at removing dissolved pollutants such as nitrates, silicates, phosphates, chlorine and other toxins. These units are used in hospital and scientific labs for water purification. It is said to out-perform carbon, organic resins and polymeric absorbents. These units use 12 disposable "Poly Discs".
