Guide Review - Penguin Powerheads
The Penguin Powerheads, made by Marineland, are among the most reliable powerheads on the market. Originally designed to add power to UGFs (remember those?), these units are excellent for moving water around a tank. The air valve regulates air flow, while the detachable intake strainer keeps debris from fouling the impeller. The output water from the powerhead can be directed up to 180 degrees with the easy to use adjustable flapper. If you are looking for a dependable plug-and-play powerhead, these units might be your best buy.
