Guide Review - D & D Marine Enterprises Flowtron Canister Filter

The Flowtron pressurized, 1000 GPH water pump flow rated canister style filter utilizes micron mesh bag technology from 150 micron down to nominal 1 micron filtration. It is easy to install in-line as either a hard piped system or using hose and over the tank mounting. Unlike some other canister filters that have lids that bind and/or are hard to remove, a simple fingertip twist of the retaining ring and you're inside. A pressure gauge measures the back pressure inside of the filter bag itself, which ensures proper service intrevals of the filter bag. These are just some of the features of this flexible, high performance canister filter. Because it can be used singly or in pairs, it is an ideal unit for large saltwater aquarium and reef tank systems.
