- For sand sifting predatory fish and invertebrates that feed on copepods and amphipods, these tiny crustaceans can purchased live and introduced into the aquarium, or cultivated in a refugium and harvested for feeding.
- For hassle free feeding, many aquarists choose to use an automatic feeder (read reviews & compare prices) to depense foods into the tank. Going away for a few days or on vacation? Consider an auto-feeder!
A marine animal that was eating just fine in the store, but has decided not to eat now that you have gotten it home sometimes needs a little time to adjust to its new tank conditions and surroundings. Once the new introduction has settled down from the stresses of moving, it usually picks up its normal eating patterns in a few days. If it doesn't, and one type of food or method of feeding is not working, don't wait, try something else, and keep trying until you find something that does work.
