What items can be used for aquascaping a saltwater aquarium?

Tank Backgrounds

By Stan & Debbie Hauter, About.com

Very decorative and creative, you can buy vinyl roll out sheets that have different images on one or both sides that are usually purchased by the foot, such as Penn-Plax Two-Sided Backgrounds. All you have to do is measure, cut, and tape the background onto the outside of the back tank panel. There are all kinds of plain colored, coral reef imaged, and even 3D type backgrounds on the market to choose from, just shop around to see what you can find.

As another background option, for a glass tank you can paint the outside area of the back tank panel with two coats of any type of quick-drying "latex" paint. This is trickier to do on acrylic, so it is much easier to just order an acrylic tank with a back colored panel already constructed into it.
