If you choose to clean and rejuvenate old clogged air stones, after you have finished cleaning them they should be in good enough shape to be reused at least once, if not a couple of times before having to dispose of them. Cleaning them takes very little effort, anyone can do it, and by not having to buy new air stones as often, it is a money saver as well.
