Spring is here and summer is almost upon us. Many marine aquarists experience Red Slime Algae; (actually not an algae, but a cyanobacteria) in their marine aquariums. While good tank hygiene is the best prevention, including the Left Handed Hermit Crab (one of the few Hermits Crabs which will eat Red Slime) in your invertebrate mix and using a good Red Slime Remover may be your best final cure. Keeping a supply of Red Slime Remover in your Saltwater Aquarium Emergency First Aid Kit isn't a bad idea.

i also used a re lip blenny … that sucker cleans my in a matter of 2days..but i have hard time finding local fish stores to order them now.. shouldnt wait till the red algae showed up..shoulda ordered sooner
