It may be the right time for you to trade your Fluorescents, T-5's, Power Compacts and Metal Halides for a simple LED lighting package. Why, you ask?? Easy!! MONEY!!! Sure, the LEDs cost a bit more to purchase initially, but the LED bulbs last about 50,000 hours (priced out those MH or PC bulbs, lately?) and, for the same lighting, suck up less than 1/3rd of the power required for T-5's, Fluorescents, PC's or MH's. Reef tank, Fish Only or Fish Only With Live Rock. It doesn't matter. Nano/Micro, mega reef tank? LED's pay for themselves in a hurry. See if it makes sense for your tank and your wallet.
