Cycling a New Tank With Live Rock

Saturday August 8, 2009

Many aquarists prefer to cycle their new tanks with Live Rock, rather than sacrificing a few inexpensive fish.
From your About Guides How To Set Up a Saltwater Aquarium in 10 Easy Steps article, Step 4 outlines the beginning phase for how to prepare live rock if you are planning on cycling your newly set up aquarium by this method.

Forums: Cycling info I have just started cycling my new 30g FOWLR tank. I just need some reassurance that I am doing this right.

Forums: Dried live rock???? I have just reset my tank how do I go about re-introducing the rock to my tank and how do I restore the bacteria in the dried rock?
